Hey!

I am Berend, 21, and currently in my third year of Dutch law at the Netherland’s most beautiful university.In my opinion, the university should offer every student the space to get the most out of their studies, both in the lecture room and outside.

I stand for a university where students graduate feeling prepared for the next step. A university that offers breathing room to students to pursue internships, extracurricular courses, social activities and experience abroad; where students learn how things really are.

I have personally experienced, being an active member and board member of diverse associations, how valuable the skills, the bonds and the experience are that are built there. Over the last few years, study associations have gone through a wave of professionalisation that the University should strongly support.I am committed to a University where every student gets the space they need to achieve their professional and personal aims, whether on Ocasys or not; a place where students can flourish.

Especially in these uncertain times, where the academic community is under pressure, it is imperative that the university stands behind every student that wants to make the most of their time.
