Tycho Wuestman

Hey!

My name is Tycho Wuestman and for the year ‘22- ‘23 I have the honorable position of Treasurer within the SOG Board. I’m a second-year student of International Relations, a member of Albertus, and chair of the Thinktank of Student & Stad. Being Treasurer, I’m responsible for keeping our association financially healthy as well as doing work on acquisition. As you might’ve guessed, my weeks are quite busy but whenever I have some free-time, I like to read the news, listen to music and hang out with friends. Furthermore, I love coffee, card games and Jiskefet (old, absurdist, Dutch comedy). I joined the SOG because I believe the city of Groningen is the greatest city on earth, but in order to maintain that top position it is crucial to have the voices of students be heard. Not only in the University Council and the Municipality Council but also in the many cafes, bars and associations because in the end, that’s where the best conversations are held.
