ENLIGHT Conference

Join us on 26-27 May 2025 for the Inner Development Goals Conference Groningen!

The IDG Conference brings together students and faculty from ENLIGHT universities, and local organizations, for two days of engaging dialogues and critical conversations.

This conference dives into the Inner Development Goals (IDGs), and discovers how to build and integrate these our lives. Specifically, how these goals relate to our academic, professional, and personal lives, and how they can contribute to meaningful change in society.

Through a mix of keynote talks, hands-on workshops, and outdoor seminars, the IDG conference will explore how these goals can influence our academic work, professional paths, and personal lives. The following questions will be explored:

How can inner development support sustainable transitions within planetary boundaries?
What skills do we need to build inclusive, thriving communities?
How do we process grief, loss, and anger in a world facing ecological breakdown?
This conference connects theory with practice, reflection with action. It aligns with ENLIGHT's mission to foster innovation and collaboration across borders to address global challenges like sustainability.

The IDG Framework, co-created by over 1,000 experts, identifies 23 essential skills across five core dimensions: Being, Thinking, Relating, Collaborating, and Acting. These skills aim to fill the gap left by purely technical solutions and inspire inner change that leads to outer impact.
